Whispers of Fear

· Photos

In the very complicated dance between good and bad, “whispers of fear” will seek to unravel the enigma of human emotions through a captivating lens. This exhibition will delve into the question: What do you fear? It will serve as a visual vignette, capturing the very essence of fear in its various forms. From the subtle tremors of vulnerability to the haunting echoes of the unknown, the images will invite viewers to introspect on their fears, whether they seem reasonable or not in today’s society because as research suggests, we have a genetic bias to fear things that threatened our ancestors, so in the end no fear is unreasonable.

The curation will aim to create an immersive experience, utilizing the interplay of composition, contrast, and emotion. Audiences will be encouraged to reflect on the paralyzing grip of fear and the potential for transformative empowerment. It is a visual narrative that transcends individual perspectives, connecting us through the shared human experience of grappling with fear and learning to live with it, because fear cannot be eliminated and courage itself is not the absence of fear, it is acting when we are afraid (Brett Harris).
